Can I buy photos individually?

What format are these photos in, and what resolution?

  • Duchenne / Non-Duchenne Smile (True Enjoyment vs. Social Smile) are jpg files. Black and white photos are 300 pixels/inch, and the color photos are 600 pixels/inch.
  • New Guinea Photos Set I (from Nebraska Symposium) are jpg files, 600 pixels/inch.
  • New Guinea Photos Set II (from Facial Expression in Man and Animals) are jpg files, 475 pixels/inch.
  • Photos from Emotions Revealed are tif files, 600 pixels/inch
  • Seven Photos from Unmasking the Face are jpg files, 600 pixels/inch


I am a publisher who wants to use/re-use the photos in a textbook/re-print of a textbook.
Please contact paulekmangroup@yahoo.com. Once the credit card has been charged, you will be issued a PERMISSION TO PUBLISH license, and the link to download the photos will be sent to you.

If you are reprinting the picture and already have the photo you will be charged $85 for the right to reuse the photo. No photo will be sent to you, but the PERMISSION license will be provided for you to print out and keep for your records. If you are requesting permission to reuse a photo please contact paulekmangroup@yahoo.com.

May I issue you a purchase order?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate purchase order requests. You will have to pay by credit card and have your company/institution reimburse you.
