I'd like to use photos of these subjects in my research. Do I need special permission?
Yes-Special permission is required when you publish these pictures for commercial use (text books, scientific journals, magazines, etc.). If you intend to use these photos commercially, you will need to have PERMISSION FOR PUBLICATION for each use. You will also be required to request permission for any research projects-which will be handled on a case by case basis. Please contact paulekmangroup@yahoo.com for more information.

Yes, all means and reliability tables are included in a pdf document on the CD.

What format are the research CD graphic files in?

  • Pictures of Facial Affect (POFA) are tif files, 72 pixels/inch.
  • Japanese and Caucasian Faces of Emotional _Expression (JACFEE) and Japanese and Caucasian Neutral Faces (JACNEUF) are all tif files,1800 pixels/inch resolution.
